This is a power packed yummy frozen treat! The Purple Power Paws include chicken gizzards, blackberries, goats milk, and mint.
Let's discuss further why they are Powerful! Chicken gizzards is high in protein and contains iron, minerals, and vitamins C, E and B. They contain glucosamine, which can help with cartilage and arthritis issues. These should never make up more than 20% max of a dogs diet though. Hiding these in some tasty treats is a fun unique way to serve them!
On to them blackberries. Blackberries are loaded with antioxidants to fight free radicals in your dog, and also have plenty of fiber and vitamins, too. It is worth mentioning that not all berries are good for dogs.
hey hey hey unpasteurized goats milk bringing you all the goodness of a probiotic and much much more! Raw goat milk is easy for dogs to digest and is packed with essential vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and enzymes. The enzymes in raw goat milk aid the digestion process, making goat milk more tolerable for your dog to digest than cow's milk.
Can’t forget that Mint. Mint not only aids in giving fresh breath but also digestion. Minty goodness joining the power party!
Ingredients
• 4 chopped up fresh mint leaves • 1/4 cup blackberries • 1/2 cup goats milk • 2 chopped up or food processed chicken gizzards (cooked or dehydrated is my usual preference but it’s personal choice)
You will need a blender and a silicon mold of your choice.
Add all the ingredients into your blender. Blend until well blended. Dispense into silicon molds and freeze for a few hours. Yay now you got Purple Power Paws! For fun, you can stick dehydrated banana chips out the back or a whole berry in there.
I give W one of these every 3 days or so in her food bowl or as a cool treat in the summer weather just for some fun. Enjoy!
